- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for a vendor to furnish all labor to support the availability of all materials, supplies, instruments, and video equipment with qualified personnel to support the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) Endoscopy Service, Palo Alto, CA. The vendor shall furnish above mentioned support as necessary to support all rigid endoscopy procedures performed in the operating room at VAPAHCS. The vendor shall provide trocars and instrumentation for all rigid endoscopic surgical procedures. The vendor will provided a trained technician to assist preoperatively with room set up, intra-operatively with verbal technical assistance with instruments and video equipment, and post-operatively with breakdown of equipment. The vendor will furnish a minimum of two (2) qualified Endoscopy and Surgical Support Specialists to VAPAHCS to be on-site to support the Operating Room, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm excluding federal holidays. Services to be provided will be in accordance with the requirements, terms, and conditions stated in the Statement of Work (SOW). THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and the SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. If there are enough responses of interest to this notice the solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses (SB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811219. The size standard for this NAICS code is $7 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year with four (4) option years, if exercised. The approximate solicitation release date is on or about August 4, 2009. The solicitation will be available solely through FedBizOpps. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number VA-261-09-RP-0122. The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) www.fbo.gov. All interested parties must have a Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Federal Identification Number (FID), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov.
