- The proposed contract action is for commercial items, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit on a sole source basis AUDIOMETRICS under the authority of FAR 13.106-(1). Interested contractors/persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of interest is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 29 July 2009, 6:00 AM, Pacific Standard Time, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items contract, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-09-T-0367 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is for ENT Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. This is a competitive, restricted action.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 621340, Size:500. This is restricted procurement. Quotations are due on or before 29July 2009, 6:00 AM. Pacific Standard Time to be considered responsive. Naval Medical Center San Diego requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the folling: Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), sole source justification is based on AUDIOMETRICS being the only Authorized Distributor and Seller for all VIASYS Neurocare GSI products. The Audbase Medical Record Database is the only Audiology based software compatible with currently owned GSI Audiometers and GSI Tympanometers and AHLTA EMR. Electronic Patient information is compatible with Naval Medical Center's AHLTA electronic record system. Audbase Medical Record Software for GSI Products: Medical Record software database that will import data from currently owned Grason Stadler Equipment. Data must be compatible with AHLTA database and HIPAA compliant. Equipment includes Windows XP computers with monitors and software load/setup on up to 20 computers. Minimum requirements are as follows: -Database must be compatible with GSI 61 Audiometers, GSI Tympstar Tympanometers-Provide network capability-HIPPAA compliant-Network package with additional licenses-Compatible with AHLTA medical record system-Inservice training and setup-Provide enough computer systems with 19" monitors for 4 audiology booths and 3 tympanometer machines-Unlimited telephone support and all software updates for on year SIN# A-341. 1005-0600 2 User System...........................................$ 2. 1005-0605 additional user license ($ x 10 users)$ 3. 3 day inservice training and set-up by Audiometrics from Bioacoustics Company via:Go to Meeting or Webinar. This is an installation, training package, and support for the entire end user group and IT Department. Cables / Port Convertors from GSI instruments to the PC are included. Also will include license to print Audbase report to a file for manual attachment into the AHLTA patient encounter database. Installation includes server software load, client software load/setup on up to 20 computers, and audiometrics equipment hookup inside 5 booths and 3 Middle Ear Analyzer workstations. $ 4. 8 New Tower Personal Computers running Windows XP Professional, Basic Microsoft Office, Intel CoreT 2 Duo Processor E6300 at 1.86GHz, 1066MHz Front Side Bus, 2MB L2 Cache 1.0GB DDR2 Non-ECC SDRAM at 533MHz, (2 x 512MB), 2 Dimm (Shared), 160GBHard Drive, 19 inch Flat Panel, VGA/DVI, and 1 Year Warranty by manufacturer. $ 5. 5 New Network Cables installed through Walls of 5 Exam Booths. $ 6.
