- Description
- The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal services for Base Cable Services at Nellis and Creech Air Force Base, NV. The contractor shall construct, install, operate and maintain a cable television system on the installation, to include Nellis Air Force Base (AFB) and Creech Air Force Base (AFB), in accordance with the terms and standards set forth in the Performance Work Statement. The cable system shall pass all base facilities and shall be capable of providing service to all base facilities set listed in the PWS or designated by the Contracting Officer. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA4861-09-R-B009 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is set aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System is 517110. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 4841. The period of performance will be one (1) basic year plus four (4) option years. The approximate performance start date is 01 Oct 09. The total contract period will not exceed five (5) years and six (6) months. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Award will be made using Price-Performance Tradeoff in accordance with FAR Part 15. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to solicitation closing date. Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Aug 2009, and will be available to view and download on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.fbo.gov/. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MAILED. Be sure to check the solicitation after issuance to verify the correct proposal response date. All amendments will be posted on the FBO website as well the date and time for the pre-proposal site visit.
