- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to: excavate existing ground (70Lx30wx10D), furnish 6 inches of Aggregated Base Course; install 6 inches x 12 inch concrete curbing (length is approximately 50 feet); and install approximately 26 tons of plant mix bituminous pavement (length of approximately 2100 sq. ft), for the entrance to Wingate Elementary School, 12 Painted Horse Trail, in Fort Wingate, New Mexico. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract, and the procurement method is Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 with construction FAR Part 36. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The period of performance is 30 calendar days. Vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. All interested firms will be able to obtain a copy of the solicitation through Fedbizopps. If any firm is unable to obtain a copy from Fedbizopps, then a written request, will be accepted, for a solicitation package to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, Attention Mary Jim, 301 West Hill Street, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 or fax your request to the Attention of Mary Jim at (505) 863-8382. Technical inquires must be submitted in writing five (5) days before the closing date. The Request for Quote (RFQ) No.: RMN00090153 are due at 4:30 p.m., local time, August 6, 2009, at Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Region Office, Division of Acquisition, Room No. 346, 301 West Hill Avenue, P.O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305. All quotes from responsible responders will be considered. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible quote.
