Description
Sketch 20 Each: Product Specification for 2in.x 2in. x 8in. Gamma Scintillation Detector Detector to be 2in.x 2in..x 8in. NaI(TI) integral line. No voids in crystal. Photomultiplier to be 2in. phototube (Hamamatsu R1840 or equivalent) with mu-metal shield, 14 pin 2in. phenolic base (JEDEC B-14-38 or equivalent), low background, and alignment tab set on centerline of 4in. side. Overall maximum dimensions: D2.300in. x W2.300in. x L11.227in. (See Attached) High Voltage Bias on PMT shall be positive(+). Photomultiplier Tube: (PMT) to detector housing to be integrated. Detector ID (p/n & s/n) Label shall be located on same side of tube as alignment tab on phenolic base. Crystal housing: aluminum or stainless steel; 95% efficient at 60 KeV. Aluminum is preferred. Supplier shall specify material in quotation. Maximum shock: 5G's Operating Temperature Range: -30 to +60 C. Output signal (Gain): Using Cs137; 5 millivolts minimum into a 50 ohm load with 1000 VDC and 10 meg ohm voltage divider. Gain of less than 50 millivolts is preferred. Resolution: 8.5% FWHM or better at 662 KeV (Cs137). Note: Resolution shall be determined with Cs137 source centered on largest side face and with an accumulation of a minimum of 400k peak (ROI) counts. Efficiency: For the twenty (20) unit order, the gross count rate of any individual detector shall be within 5% of the average (of the 20 unit batch) gross count rate for a 152Eu source centered on the largest side face, at the same distance and measurement time for each detector. The spectral range should span 25keV to 3MeV for the measurements and the gain set such that the resolution specification is also met. Warranty: full two (2) years on detector package; full three (3) years on PMT. 20 Each Product Specification for 2in.x 4in.x 16in. Gamma Scintillation Detector Detector to be 2in.x 4in.x 16in. NaI(TI) integral line. No voids in crystal. Photomultiplier to be 3.5in. phototube with mu-metal shield, 14 pin 2in. phenolic base, low background, and alignment tab set on centerline of 4in. side. Overall maximum dimensions: D2.65in. x W4.4in. x L24in. High Voltage Bias on PMT shall be positive(+). Photomultiplier Tube: (PMT) to detector housing to be demountable. PMT mounting plate should have corners cut to accommodate close packing of the detectors along the longest side at a 60º angle. A drawing is included for reference/clarification. Resolution: 8.0% FWHM or better at 662 KeV (Cs137). Interested parties are to provide spec sheets that demonstrates that it meets the specs.
