- 52 Each Product Specification for Multi Channel Analyzer (MCA) Package: Single integrated Package consisting of 14-Pin PMT Tube Base with Integrated Bias Supply High Voltage Bias Power Supply: 0 to +1500V Detector Bias Voltage Analog to Digital Converter (ADC): Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based ADC with digital signal processing (DSP) for scintillation detector spectroscopy; the ADC needs to be 12 bit operating at 40 MHz Connectors: Weather-tight connectors (IP67) for USB and GPIO pins Interface: •1. Mini-USB interface for command, control and data transfer •2. Programmable GPIO interface for DAQ synchronization •3. User accessible JTAG interface for FPGA firmware updates or modifications Software: Open-source Application Programming Interface (API) for user programming of all DAQ and associated functions Power Consumption: Less than 350 mA @ 5V from USB Histograms: •1. 2 (Two) independent banks of 2048 x 32-bit channels, adjustable throughput up to 500,000 counts per second (cps) •2. Units must support histogram bank switching to eliminate data loss during read/write operations Firmware: MCS firmware can be updated by user Temperature : Operating range: -15 Celsius to 70 Celsius Interested parties are to provide copies of spec sheets demonstrating that the unit meets the specifications.
