- The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System has a requirement for provision of ambulance services for its outpatient clinic located at the University of South Alabama-Springhill, in Mobile Alabama. Services will be required in Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke and Washington counties. The acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The base period of performance will be from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010, with two one-year option periods. The solicitation will be posted to the FBO website on or about August 10, 2009. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 621910, and the small business size standard is $7,000,000.00. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business. To be eligible for award of a contract, vendors must be actively registered in the CCR database. Information on CCR is available at www.ccr.gov.
