- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (100% Set-aside for Small Business) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N6883609T07X2 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. 01 Labor & Material necessary to repair existing security camera system and install new components. Repair / replace components ofthe electronic security surveillance system.2. Manufacturer's product description and application requirements for allcameras, monitors, transmitters, receivers, and pan- tilt- zoom controllerscomprising the electronic surveillance system at NSA Athens.4. Drawings:This section not used.5. Technical Specifications:This section not used.6. Scheduling:Coordinate schedule with Contracting Officer's Representative. All work shall bescheduled during normal business hours; Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to4:30 PM ex~cluding government holidays.7. General Description of work:a. All work to be performed in a workmanship like manner by craftsmenskilled in the trade. All personnel will abide by the Army Corps ofEngineers Safety Manual EM385-1-1.b. The work ofthis contract is the complete repair ofthe elect~onic securitysurveillance system and NSA Athens. Specifically the work is to includeall labor, material, and 'equipment required to install and connect to system,two 21" color monitor and two 16 port active receivers at the securitydispatch desk at Winnie Davis Hall. Work is also to include all material,labor, and equipment for the installation and connection to system ofsixteen active transmitters, eight 1/3" fixed color cameras, and factoryrepair and re-installation ofsix pan-tilt-zoom cameras at various locationsat NSA Athens. Contractor to verify continuity ofall twisted-pair basephone lines utilized in the electronic security surveillance system.Replacement of damaged phone lines are not included in the work ofthiscontract. Contractor must visit the site prior to bidding for equipmentlocations and access requirements.7.1 Product Specifications:Make and model numbers for equipment to be replaced / repaired are asshown on the attached spreadsheet.7.2 Warranty:Contractor to warrant all materials and workmanship for a period ofone yearafter acceptance ofthe work by the government.7.3 Site Clean-upContractor to remove from site any and all debris, (including cartons,packaging, replaced equipment,) generated by the work o(this contract.
