- Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Construct Concrete Targets Requirements Contract, Eglin AFB FL. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238110 and the size standard of $14M. This is a full and open competitive unrestricted acquisition. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but is not limited to the following: furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all operations required to Construct Concrete Targets, Eglin AFB, FL on an as required basis. In general, the work includes construction of various reinforced concrete targets on specified test areas of target casting yards, all of which will be performed on an as required task order basis. Performance period is one year for the Basic contract plus one One-Year option. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB FL, and the Eglin Range. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 for the Basic plus one One-Year option years combined. Basic year performance period is 365 calendar days with an additional option period of 365 calendar days. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal RFP will be available on the Federal Government Electronic Posting System www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 01 Aug 2009. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 31 Aug 2009. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. All interested contractors are encouraged to register on the Interested Vendors List on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration database and Online Representations and Certifications Application orca.bpn.gov database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for award.
