- The Contigency Contracting Office Balkans, Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo is conducting a Sources Sought limited source synospis for engine replacements for 6 Cummins generators. This office intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) on or about 4 August 2009. We are seeking only vendors who are capable of providing replacement engines for Cummmins generators (Model Numbers AHCP14005/CP14005), training,and spare parts. Additionally, only Cummins manufactured engines will fit into the existing power generator system. The current controls are set up for Cummins engines; parts distribution issues and the maintenance training only covers Cummins engines. There will also need to be a Cummins representative onsite during the installation of the Cummins engines to ensure proper installation and to make sure that the warranty is not voided. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this Sources Sought information is to gain knowledge of available sources. All interested and capable sources are asked to read the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and provide brief written comments concerning aproach for replacement of engines, training, spare parts and warranty. All written responses to this synopsis shall be submitted to CPT (P) Johnny Woods at: johnny.woods@eur.army.mil or johnny.a.woods@us.army.mil no later than 31 July 2009. No telephonic responses will be accepted.
