Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to procure 1 each 2.4 GHz Test Source and 1 each 5.8 GHz Test Source. Attachment 1 to this announcement is the revised specification for 5.8 GHz Test Source and the specification for the 2.4 GHz Test Source. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is N00178-09-Q-3113. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 by Naval Surface Warfare Center, NSWCDD, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110 and will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code is 334419 and the FSC Code is 5963. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. Attn: Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. All quotes must include all applicable shipping charges. The required delivery is 10 weeks after the date of the order. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITITUES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED IN THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All quotes must be submitted to tina.lynn@navy.mil or faxed to (540) 653-6810, ATTN: CXS13-5 no later than 24 July 2009. Reference Request for Quote N00178-09-Q-3113 on all correspondence. In order to be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Vendors may obtain information for registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Source Description: Frequency: - 5.8GHz, - Fixed FrequencyPower Output: - 700KW Minimum, Output Adjust:- 15dB continuous, Minimum Output Power Monitoring: - Output shall be monitored through a Directional coupler (calibrated) which will include forward and reflected ports with crystal detectors Circulator: - Isolation.20dB Minimum- VSWR...1.25:1 Maximum - Insertion Loss.. 0.5dB Maximum Horn: - Standard Gain Horn (includes transition/hardware to horn directly to Magnetron waveguide launcher)Transmission Line: - Low Loss coaxial cable designed to operate at the specified power, frequency and horn stated above - Two lengths of cable shall be provided, 5ft and 10ft. Output Flange: - Transition from magnetron waveguide to coax shall be provided. Input Power: - 115VAC, 60 Hz, single phase, or - 208VAC, 60 Hz Cooling: - Forced air - Internally contained Controls: (At a Minimum)- Main Power On-Off Circuit Breaker, - RF: ON/Off switch with indicators, - High Voltage: ON/Off switch with indicators - System Ready: Indicator - Output Adjust: 15dB Minimum, continuously variable.
