- ERDC Contracting Office intends to award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501 to Adobe Government at Carahsoft, 12369 Sunrise Valley Drive Suite D2, Reston, VA, 20191. Adobe Government at Carahsoft is the only known source that offers installation and support for Adobe Digital Signatures/LC Rights Management software as part of R&D projects for Software Engineering and Informatics Division. Adobe Carahsoft is the current software maintenance provider for these applications under contract to the CAD/BIM Technology Center in FY09. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. CST on July 22, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to derek.a.howard@usace.army.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
