- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) to renew the FHWA super site license software program (Pontis Bridge Management). AASHTO has the capability to implement and provide the required database services necessary for the bridge management systems among the State Highway agencies and the Federal Land offices. Because AASHTO developed and maintains the Pontis bridge software they are considered the only source for the services. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is July 31, 2009.
