Description

Section M Section L Statement of Work/Sample Task Order (Tech Support) Statement of Work - Sample Task Order (ICP) Statement of Work/Sample Task Order (DTRIP) Statement of Objectives This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. This synopsis is issued as a result of sources sought notice – Solicitation Number: OSA0900012739 issued December 10, 2008. There is no solicitation at this time. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about 1 August 2009. Technical, Analytical, and Logistics Support is being sought by DTRA On-Site Inspection Directorate (OP-OS) in the execution of its core program in the areas of planning, organizing, preparing, integrating, reporting, maintenance, equipment, logistics, training, and outreach. The mission of OP-OS is to: conduct U.S. Government (USG) inspections of foreign facilities, units or events under arms control treaties and agreements; coordinate and escort foreign inspections of U.S. facilities, units or events; plan and prepare for future agreements; execute tasks furthering USG arms control and threat reduction initiatives; organize, train, equip, and deploy inspection, audit and examination, monitoring and escort teams; and accomplish other tasks requiring the unique skills resident in this directorate. In addition, to satisfy this objective, tasks may be required for: technical, analytical and logistics support; DTIRP support; treaty/mission equipment or information system support; treaty or mission-related training courses, seminars, and meetings; and arms control, treaty, and mission/program planning. The anticipated contract award is for a single award Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Contract. Individual task orders will be awarded as either firm-fixed-price or cost-plus-fixed-fee, as appropriate for each requirement and based on historical experience, the complexity of the effort, and the nature of the services. No solicitation exists at this time. However, a draft SOO, SOWs, and Sections L and M will be posted simultaneously with this presolicitation notice. Please do not request a copy of a solicitation. When the solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the DTRA website. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Questions from offerors are welcome; answers to questions will be posted after the final solicitation is released. Please reference HDTRA1-09-R-0025 in any response. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
