- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Environmental Health and Injury Prevention, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Division of Injury Response will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide assistance and support for assisting the Division in the development of the agenda and the researching and development of the consensus papers and white papers based on Military publications. Topics to be addressed will come from recommendations made by an expert panel convened by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) early Spring 2009 and endorsed by a workgroup of Federal and non-Federal experts in the Fall of 2009. The contractor would be responsible for furnishing all required personnel, consultants, materials, equipment and supplies to provide various work and services. THIS ACQUISITION IS FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541690 -- Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services with employee standard of $7 million. The anticipated period of performance is for a Base period of 12 months with two (2) 12-month option periods, beginning on/or about 09/01/09. Solicitation Number 2009-N-11478 has posted on the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 20, 2009. All responsible sources must submit a proposal in accordance with the released solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency if received on or before the designated due date stated within the solicitation. Interested parties should contact Mr. Michael E. Allen, the CDC Point of Contact for this notice via email: MEAllen@cdc.gov by no-later-than 2:30 PM on July 17, 2009 to confirm their intent to submit an offer following receipt of the CDC's Request for Proposal (RFP). Please be advised the Government will not maintain a Bidder's List, therefore interested parties are responsible for periodically monitoring www.FedBizOpps.gov for the corresponding solicitation and subsequent amendments.
