- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the renovation of building 408, Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of 2 areas of renovation and a building addition located to the East side of the existing building. The first area will include demolition of existing offices and bathroom facilities followed by a new configuration of offices, a break area, as well as a bathroom/locker area. The second area will involve reconfiguration of office space, a sleeping area for approximately 4 people, and a fitness room with exercise equipment. The new addition portion of the project is a 2000 square foot garage consisting of four overhead sectional garage doors, two man doors, and a concrete vault within the structure. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to renovate building 408, Malmstrom AFB, MT, in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. This Request for Proposal will be available on or about 1 Aug 2009. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 31 Aug 2009. The Performance Period for this project is two hundred and fourty (240) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal is available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.eps.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/p/sq1/ccr.welcome). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 31 Dec 2009, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
