- The Department of the interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has awarded Order G09PX01720 to Keefe Kaplan Maritime, Inc. (KKMI) of 530 W Cutting Blvd., Richmond, CA, for the fabrication/installation of safety equipment on the USGS Research Vessel Turning Tide. The period of performance is 07/20/2009 through 09/08/2009. The place of performance is the Contractor's facility in Richmond, CA. The dollar value of this action is $52,972.43. Full funding for requirement to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5. Unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, have been included. (ATN #ARRA-DM0029) 07/17/2009
