- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Division of Contracting and General Services plans to issue a Request for Proposal number 20181RR001, the Solicitation will be posted on or about 18 August 2009. The work will consists of but not be limited to a contractor to provide all design services, material, and labor necessary to construct a facility approximately 14,378 square feet (8520 SF office areas, 4090 SF visitor area, and 1768 SF covered breezeway). The government will provide design concept and development to approximately 30% design completion. The location of the facility will be near Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge in Chambers County, Texas. This solicitation will be advertised as full and open competition for maximum participation. We are seeking contractors in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220; Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. In Accordance with FAR 36.204; the stated magnitude for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. All prospective contractors are advised that once issued they must review the two step proposal submission process carefully. The Phase I and Phase II design- build evaluation process will be used and detailed in the Solicitation sections L & M. When posted, all Statement of Work, Specifications and related documents will be available for download via the National Business Center (NBC) website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp, use the quick search box to access the solicitation by number.
