- Description
- It is the intent of the Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) Ship Support Unit (SSU) San Diego to make sole source procurement from Fairbanks Morse Engine for services to overhaul 30 fuel oil injectors. The services will be performed per OEM criteria and specifications. The performance period for this requirement is date of award through 10 August 2009. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Fairbanks Morse Engine, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received on time will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 17 July 2009. This requirement is solicited under NAICS Code 336611 with a size standard of 1000. Electronic posting of the solicitation may be viewed by visiting the Contracts Section of the MSC Website. Instruction for downloading the solicitation from the MSC website is as follows: type in http://www.msc.navy.mil/ into your browser. Click on Contracts at the upper right hand corner of screen, click on Active Request for Proposals. Click on MSC Office Location, click on Military Sealift Command Pacific San Diego, click on Search. Look for the solicitation number and click on RFQ/RFP number. Follow the instruction for downloading the solicitation.
