- Description
- DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Grouting of Concrete Riser for Water Supply Intake, Upper Petit Jean Site 9, Logan County, Arkansas. The work shall consist of repairing cracks in a concrete riser that is the principal spillway of a watershed lake. The cracks are located in the elbow and transition section that goes from a 72” diameter concrete conduit to the riser outlet which is 6’ wide by 12’ tall. There are three known cracks that extend in a random pattern from the construction joint on one side of the elbow/transition section across the top and down to the construction joint on the other side. The cracks are to be completely filled to eliminate the seepage of water and to restore structural integrity. This procurement is unrestricted. CONTRACTOR SELECTION CRITERIA: Contractor selection will be based on the following factors, listed in descending order of importance: (1) Past Performance (projects of similar size and scope) and (2) Experience (projects of similar size and scope). All evaluation factors for contract award selection other than cost or price are approximately equal to cost or price. The Government reserves the right to make contract award(s) without negotiation, based on initial offers. There will not be a public bid opening. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: Successful offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov, and must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), https://orca.bpn.gov/, to receive a contract award. Failure to register in these systems will result in the offer not being considered for award. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about May 30, 2009, with offers received on July 20, 2009, or as stated in the solicitation. A site visit to view the work site will be scheduled.
