- NASA/KSC has a requirement for a Type 1 Command Workstation (CWS), quantity one (1)each, per the attached specifications. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) andFAR 52.246-15 Certificate of Conformance (APR 1984) apply to this requirement. Requestthat quote be valid through 11/30/2009. Best delivery schedule requested (e.g. 30 daysARO). FOB Destination required, please build shipping costs into another line item. Thespecifications are linked above.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation,which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQsystem to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may beaccessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The informationrequired by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 7/24/2009. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for therelease of amendments (if any).
