- Description
- The project includes providing and tagging new composite weir boards, providing and placing a storage container, removal of old weir boards and replacement with new weir boards, and storage of excess weir boards. Project also includes maintenance dredging in the vicinity of Cross-Roads, Cuts M-4 & M-5 (IWW) and Cut-1 (OWW). The dredging in the vicinity of Cross-Roads is to 10-feet required depth plus 2-feet allowable over-depth in the IWW and 8-feet required depth plus 2-feet allowable over depth in the OWW. Total estimated quantity of material is 54,100 cubic yards and all material is to be placed in the adjacent upland disposal site M-5. Work also includes turbidity monitoring and manatee observation. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 July 2009 with bids due on or about 26 August 2009. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
