- Emergency and Non-Emergency Ambulance ServiceNew Orleans LA Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System, 1555 Poydras Street, New Orleans LA 70114 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Contract Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity For: Emergency and Non-Emergency Ambulance Service: Service shall include transportation to and from patients residence to the New Orleans VA facility or to community providers authorized by the VA, or between such facilities. It will include an area 100 miles from the New Orleans facility located at 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans LA. and transportation to affiliated VA facilities (most commonly those located in Shreveport, LA, Houston, TX, Biloxi, MS, Jackson, MS and Alexandria, LA). Period of performance for this requirement will be October 1st 2009 thru September 30, 2010, plus four (4) one-year options for renewal. The proposed method of procurement for this requirement is unrestricted due to insufficient small businesses found through market research. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621910 with a size standard of $7.0 million. All prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about August 10, 2009 with a closing date on or about September 4,2009.
