- Description
- The solicitation has been posted for the Operation, Maintenance, and Repair of the Central Heat Plant (Bldg 660), Heating System (Bldg 837), Propane/Air Plant (Bldg 501), and High Temperature Hot Water Heat Distribution System acquisition. This acquisition is a 100% HUBZone. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561210 with a size standard of $35.5 million. The Government is soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, labor, repair, and other items necessary to operate and maintain the Central Heat Plant, Heating System, Propane/Air Plant, and High Temperature Hot Water Distribution System at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. This acquisition will be a firm fixed price with one basic year and three option years. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, price is approximately equal to past performance. Past Performance will be evaluated based on management, technical management, relevancy, recency, and quality. The Government anticipates the issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) in March 2009. The target award date is September 2009. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. There will not be paper copies of this solicitation available. The RFP will be released using the Electronic Posting System (EPS) available at http://www.fbo.gov. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
