- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN ANCHORAGE, AK STAR #: 7AK2075 The United States Government seeks to lease class ‘A' contiguous office space. The space offered must consist of approximately 1,935 rentable square feet in Anchorage, AK. The space should yield 1,683 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. Prospective offers will be considered if, through a cost-benefit analysis, the Government determines that it is economically advantageous to move. Factors taken into account in the cost-benefit analysis include, but are not limited to, the following: the proposed rent for a fully serviced lease and expenses associated with moving. The proposed space must be located within: North: 2nd Avenue East: L Street to Minnesota Drive South: Tutor West: New Seward (Gambell) The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than January 10, 2011. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership.
