Description
RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER Multiple Task Order Contracts (MTOC), W91248-08-D-0004, Linc Government Services, 270-885-4675, W91248-08-D-0005, RCI, Inc, 859-263-2081, W91248-08-D-0006, TMC Contracting, 931-647-2233, W91248-08-D-0007, Vanguard, 931-431-3771 and W91248-08-D-0008, Coleman Construction, 931-906-9844. The Directorate of Contracting intends to competitively award a firm-fixed price task order utilizing Recovery Act of 2009 funding under MTOC. Please note that only the contractors who have been awarded a Task Order Contract from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Contracting Office are eligible to prepare and submit a proposal for this solicitation. The anticipated scope of work may include, but is not limited to all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the design and construction which includes asbestos; lead based paint and mold abatement; fire protection & mass notification systems; repair all concrete spalls; paint exterior and interior of hangar doors, walls and overhead doors; paint walls throughout; paint all exposed structural steel and roof deck; paint walls, ceilings, floor, handrails and replace tread plates on all stairs; remove old building signage plates and replace with new current signage; demo existing floor tile and carpeting throughout all areas on first floor and apply clear epoxy finish on existing concrete; demo existing floor tile and carpeting throughout all areas on second floor and install new stain-resistant, abrasion resistant floor tile in all rooms and hallways; replace all interior and exterior personnel doors, hardware and hinges; new doors shall be hollow metal doors; demo existing electric hoist and all hoist tracks in Interior Bay area complete & includes removing all wiring, and conduit to panel; demo the existing overhead door in the second floor main conference room & install 3 ft high CMU wall and new double pane, thermal-insulated windows and install internet access and telephone communications. Main Hangar Bay Area Upgrades are as follows: replace insulation on walls and doors; repair, adjust, lubricate and paint inter and exterior of hangar doors; replace seals; demo existing hangar door electric track system & replace with Power glide conductor bar electric trolley system; install missing door stops on hangar doors; resurface hangar bay floor with an oil, water & fuel resistant coating; paint inter walls and ceilings; Pressure test and troubleshoot existing aircraft compressed air system and restore to working condition; replace existing sinks, fiber glass panels; install GFCI outlets in all latrines; install new outlets; install new light fixtures; replace emergency lighting; install new grounding points in main hangar bay; clean all duct; demo all HVAC equipment, plumbing and duct work no longer used; remove all window units throughout facility; upgrade existing HVAC system to delivery HVAC to every room inside the hangar; upgrade existing HVAC for Open Shop Area; replace existing heating system in hangar bay area; install ne ventilation system in each latrine; replace existing louvers on the exterior of the building; and contractor is responsible for moving, storing and safeguarding all equipment inside the Hangar 7206. Contractor shall design and construct two (2) exterior storage spaces; one (1) shall be 50 ft by 80 ft and the other 8 ft by 8 ft. Any other questions, please email Debra J.
