- Description
- Flathead National Forest, West Side Vistas Stewardship. The objective of the contract will be to improve views around Hungry Horse Reservoir by selectively removing saw timber and non-saw timber and shrubs. Work includes, but is not limited to, the treatment of existing brush and non-merchantable material on approximately 125 acres. the harvesting and removal of saw and non-saw products, pre-commercial thinning on approximately 4 acres and road maintenance associated with the contract operations. A solicitation with full details will be posted to the fedbizopps website on approximately August 4, 2009. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 8:00 A.M. on August 18, 2009 at the U.S. Forest Service, Hungry Horse Ranger District, 10 Hungry Horse Drive, Hungry Horse, MT. Meeting will begin in the office and then we will proceed to the field. Interested offerors will be responsible for their own transportation to the field.
