Description
THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small or emerging small business firms to set aside a single award indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to appropriate acquisition decisions. The contractor will be required to furnish peripheral artery catheters with the following characteristics: 1. Peripheral atherectomy vasculature capability. 2. Capable of ablating and removing (by aspiration) atherosclerotic plaques and debris simultaneously. 3. Capable of removing the full spectrum of arterial blockages. 4. Catheter shall allow access to multiple diameter arterial vasculatures without the need to change catheters. The contractor shall also furnish a peripheral artery catheter console to support catheter procedures. The console shall remain the property of the contractor throughout the life of the contract. The contractor shall install the console at the medical facility, maintain and then remove the console at contract completion. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contract Specialist Matt Ake (Phil.Ake1@va.gov) no later than 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), Friday July 24 2009. Solicitation VA-259-09-RP-0346 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NAICS Code 339112 is applicable to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered has an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
