- Brand Name Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-09-Q-0026. This RFQ is for an offeror to provide the following software maintenance listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name requirement due to it is less expensive to maintain the current software than buying new. No substitutions of required supplies or services is allowed. ITEM SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT UNIT-PRICE 0001 Activeworx CrossCare upgrade and support 01 EA Renewal including re-instatement fee P/N: CROSSCARE-AC-R 1-AW-ENT Only CrossTec or a licensed Service provider of CrossTec is authorized to provide the items and service. NAICS code is 423430 and the size standard is 100 Employees. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. This requirement is set aside 100 % for small businesses. Place of performance is: Defense Logistics Information Service, HDI Federal Center, 74 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, Michigan 49037-3084 The offeror shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) listed above. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror who has the lowest price and meets the requirements of this RFQ.. The following clauses/provisions are hereby incorporated by reference.
