- RECOVERY - This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a fully enclosed, trailer mounted, plate and frame sludge dewatering press at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel. The filter press will be used to dewater metal hydroxide sludge generated from processing up to 2.5 million gallons per day of metal-laden mine drainage water. The press and all components must be capable of operating under cold weather conditions and shall include a heating system capable of maintaining 60 degrees Fahrenheit internally. The mobile filter press must be delivered at least 6 months After Receipt of Order (ARO). This procurement is advertised on an unrestricted basis. The electronic copy of the Invitation For Bids (IFB) is anticipated to be made available on or around August 19, 2009 at www. FBO.gov. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for September 18, 2009 in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101. These dates may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333319. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a valid registration prior to the award of any Federal Government contracts. To register in CCR go to http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors submitting a bid must complete their Representations and Certifications On-Line (Section K of the solicitation). To complete the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) go to http://orca.bpn.gov. Please be advised that the awardee of this contract will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), which requires that each contractor, and first tier subcontractors, be subject to reporting its ARRA funds under the awarded contract.
