Description
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the Conversion of approximately 1,393 reels of 16mm Microfilm to electronic files. The site location will be the selected contractor's facility. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm Fixed Price type, delivery order against the successfull offeror(s) GSA Schedule Contract. The anticipated period of performance is 09/30/2009 through 09/29/2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on https://www.gsaadvantage.gov on or about 07/24/2009 reference: E-Buy RFQ Number (RFQ379185). The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time.This requirement is being competed as a full and open competition under GSA Schedule FSC 36 Category 51 506. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210. The Data being converted from Microfilm to digital format is public domain. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
