- This is a 100% HUBZONE set-aside procurement and issued under NAICS code 238160. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to replace the roof systems over the First Floor of the Main Lab Facility and the First Floor of the Ice Engineering Facility, located at USACRREL, Hanover, NH. Principal features of work include removing all old roofing materials including ballast, membranes, insulation, lightweight concrete fill (south roof section), felts, penetration boots, flashings as necessary, blocking as necessary, miscellaneous metal and other items associated with the roof, all parts of the existing walkway between the exit door and the freight elevator, and the safety railing, and properly dispose of or recycle all materials off site. Replace all materials removed with a new, complete roofing system fully warranted through the membrane manufacturer. Install new drains. Install a new walkway at least equal in dimensions to the existing between the exit door and the freight elevator. Use protected membrane sleepers to rest the walkway framework on to fully protect the new roofing system. Ensure all areas under the walkway are enclosed to prevent anything from going under the walkway. Install a new handrail to match the new walkway material. The value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). Issue date on or about July 31, 2009. Bid opening date on or about September 1, 2009. This procurement is restricted to certified HUBZone firms. This procurement is issued under FSC Code Y199 for a firm fixed priced contract.
