- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP04070900008 for the provision of providing Pharmacy Technician Services. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Greenville, Illinois. The contractor shall provide Pharmacy Technician Services for inmates assigned to the institution. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract performance period is anticipated to consist of a base year of Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2010 and will include four (4) 12-month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year is 1440 sessions. One (1) session is defined as one (1) hour in length. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 16, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621999, with a size standard of $10.0 million. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 25, 2009. The anticipated date of award will be approximately September 25, 2009. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered.
