- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL is soliciting competitive quotes to provide non-destructive digital X-Ray inspection of Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Lightweight Armor (LWA) to identify any cracks in armor panels. This requirement is to develop digital X-Ray equipment software or modify existing digital X-Ray equipment software in order to inspect Kevlar backed armor panels. The contractor shall use the X-Ray software to inspect fourteen ship sets (58 armor panels per ship set) of LWA onsite at Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU 4) located in Little Creek, VA. A Request for Quote will be released on or about 13 Jul 2009. The result of this purchase will be a firm-fixed price purchase order. The period of performance for the order will be from award through 180 days after award. NAICS 541380. FSC H299. Small Business Size Standard $12 million. Award will be based on a responsive quote at a fair and reasonable price. Anticipated award date will be on or about 6 Aug 2009
