- This acquisition will be released as a Hub-Zone Set-Aside, Invitation for Bids (IFB) under NAICS Code 237310. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on or about 7/31/2009. The project consists of performing asphalt pavement repairs and ditch maintenance in parks and recreational facilities operated by the by the Greers Ferry Project Office located in Heber Springs, AR. The type of contract will be an Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a total Not To Exceed capacity determined by the unit prices of the awardee. The contract term will be for a one year period from the date award. Individual Task Orders will be issued and funded for required repairs. The work encompasses pavement repair, applying asphalt concrete overlay, single bituminous surface treatment, scarifying, shaping, and compacting existing base course, pavement marking, scarifying, shaping, compacting existing bituminous surface treatment, placing and compacting aggregate base course shoulders, removing existing concrete pavement, placing stone, and performing ditch maintenance. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government will conduct a Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit, dates to be announced, details regarding the Conference will be provided in the solicitation, Section 00100. There will be a public bid opening. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the bidders responsibility to check the following internet address daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors registered with the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the internet after solicitation issuance.
