- The work shall consist of replacing the existing single sloped roof on the maintenance building at Lock & Dam 12. The building is approximately 2,016 sq ft. The existing roof is a 3 Ply built-up with a ballast topping. The contractor shall remove all ballast, 3 ply roof membrane, and insulation and dispose of properly in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The contractor shall replace all plywood on the West side of the building. The replacement roof shall be an EPDM Rubber Membrane Roof with a minimum thickness of 60mils. The perimeter flashing is considered Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). The contractor shall submit an Asbestos Removal Plan for the removal and disposal of perimeter flashing.
