- Contractor shall furnish readjustment counseling services at their location for eligible veterans referred by the Regional Vet Centers located at 1440 Dutch Valley Place, Atlanta GA 30324, and 930 River Center Place, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Services will be required for beneficiaries who are located over 30 miles from the two respective vet centers. Currently there are seven service areas that are providing coverage and are identified as: Athens, GA; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, GA; Gainesville, GA; Griffin, GA; Cobb County; and Dothan, AL. This demarcation may or may not remain based on the proposals received on this solicitation. Readjustment counseling is defined as counseling by social workers, psychologists, psychiatrist, or other qualified counselors, individually or in groups specifically directed at social, psychological or behavioral difficulties specifically related to the post-war readjustment to civilian life. Services does not include general mental health services, but only provides readjustment counseling for psychosocial difficulties related to post-war readjustment from military duty, e.g., Exposure to combat-related war trauma, PTSD, difficult post-war experiences. This is a total small business set aside. Providers who exceed the NAICS business size may not bid on this requirement. NAICS is 621402, $9.0M.
