- Description
- Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to renovate building 9633 at Eglin AFB FL. This is a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program set aside acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236210 and the Small Business size standard of $33.5M. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. In general, the work will consist of but is not limited to providing construction upgrades, additions, alterations, repairs, and renovations. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB FL. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is 270 calendar days. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Government Electronic Posting System (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about 30 Jul 09. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 30 Aug 09. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. All interested contractors are encouraged to register on the Interested Vendors List on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (www.orca.bpn.gov) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
