- RECOVERY - This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the removal and placement of new shingles on the Visitor Center at Pea Ridge National Military Park, Garfield, AR. Also included will be replacement removal and disposal of existing asphalt shingles including roofing felt and any damaged decking, install new decking where damaged decking was removed, install new roofing felt, install new asphalt shingles, install roof vents and install metal flashing where required.This competitive acquisition is set aside for HUBZone Contactors. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $14 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 to $100,000. Contractors are urged to visit the site for a complete understanding of existing work conditions. The point of contact for this solicitation is Neal Hause, Email address is neal_hause@nps.gov. Per 52.219-03 Notice of Total HUBZone Set-Aside, this solicitation is set aside for qualified HUBZone Small Business Concerns only. Bids received from concerns that are not HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible bidder whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation with specifications, drawing, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 31, 2009.
