- This is a Sources Sought Announcement for The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research Program (IRP) for which the agency is seeking to set-aside for small business. The agency requires an Illumination System for Photolysis of Caged Molecules. The requirement to include the following items: PosQuantityDescription11Spot Illumination System for photolysis of caged molecules, consisting of DPSL-355/30-AOM diode pumped solid state laser, complete turn-key system- wavelength 355nm, max. output power 30mW- repetition rate 10kHz (i.e. 3μJ/pulse)- UV acousto optic modulator for power adjustment- TTL trigger- fibre optic coupling includingQLG-100 quartz light guide with core diameter 100μmQLG-400 quartz light guide with core diameter 400μmOSI-BX51 module for spot illumination with fibre optic coupling to be attached to the fluorescence attachment of an Olympus BX51 microscope- dichroic mirror DCLP 420, reflecting light below 420 nm and transmittinglight above 420 nm from your fluorescence lamp- spot fixed in the center of the field of view, size dependent on diameter of light guide and objective used 21Installation, introduction into the system in Baltimore (2 days) 31TransportationPlease note: The systems price is based on an exchange rate of 1.40 USD per Euro. In case of order its final price will be calculated using the exchange rate of the date of shipment.Delivery: 8-10 weeks, CPT Baltimore (import and other local taxes and fees not included) Interested Small Business concerns should respond with a capability statement no later than July 31, 2009 with length no longer than 10 pages.
