- Description
- Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. This project is to Repair the MSG Command Suite, B500, Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Renovation of the MSG Command Suite is in an area of approximately 2000 square feet inside of building 500. This includes removing and adding interior walls, closet doors and interior doors. Removal of all carpeting and acoustical ceiling tile where needed. Remove, relocate, replace, and reuse existing power, telephone/data jacks, outlets, switches and sprinklers. LAN and phone line in demolished walls will be coiled up and used in new wall if length is sufficient. Reuse existing metallic conduit wherever possible. Removal and replace all non usable lighting fixtures. Add electrical outlet were necessary. All lights will have occupancy sensing. Create HVAC zoning areas to new area. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. This Request For Proposal will be available on or about 4 Aug 2009. The Request For Proposal will close on or about 3 Sept 2009. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request For Proposal is available by electronic transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.gov ). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 15 Jan 09, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/ ). The magnitude or this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
