- U.S. General Services Administration Acquisition Operations Division Federal Acquisition Service Intent to Award a Sole Source task order This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. The United States General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Acquisition Operations Division (AOD), San Francisco, CA in accordance with FAR Subpart 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with NBS Technology (Card Technology Corporation) for a renewal of a maintenance service contract to support the Horizon H2, Horizon Evolution, CMS 2000, and Envelope Inserter card printer and mailing machines. On previous procurements NBS Technology was chosen as the best value vendor after a competitive procurement process. Currently, no other source is capable of providing the necessary maintenance service. The determination not to compete this requirement is made at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). All responses to this announcement must be received in writing or by email to christopher.andrade@gsa.gov or 450 Golden Gate Avenue, Suite 5132, San Francisco, CA 94102 prior to July 26, 2009.
