- NOTICE: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY The following request for information (RFI) is issued solely for Market Research purposes in planning a possible requirement for the National Park Service (NPS) It does not constitute a Request for Quote. The NPS is not accepting offers at this time nor will the information provided be evaluated or considered as an offer. This RFI does not commit the NPS to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The NPS will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred by a contractor in response to this RFI. The solution must be able to perform at minimum the following: "Manage SharePoint alerts across sites and Site Collections from one location"Save time, minimize inbox traffic and keep projects on track by automatically sending customized, conditional email alerts and reminders to users or a group of users"Keep your company's events and initiatives on track and up-to-date with the Calendar Plus Web Part"Spice up your SharePoint Lists, SQL, List Rollup, and MashPoint data in charts"Pull together and view information from multiple lists quickly and easily for on-the-spot reporting and analysis."Easily customize the look and feel of SharePoint List, SQL, List Rollup, or other external data in a grid style data view without using SharePoint Designer. RESPONSES. Responses to this RFI must include discussions of a commercial design or design strategy which meets the intent of the NPS objective and addresses the characteristics listed in the above. Responses must also include a statement regarding current availability, estimated time of delivery after contract award (if not currently available), estimated price of the product. This RFI does not constitute an invitation for Bids, Requests for Proposals or Requests for Quotes. The responses to this RFI will be evaluated to determine solution options available in the commercial market place. A follow-up RFI may be issued prior to the RFQ. The RFQ would have to be published in FY 09 to support the current schedule. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation available. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail by July 23, 2009 by 5:00pm Eastern Time to heather_madsen@nps.gov. Telephone responses are not acceptable.
