- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to standardization requirements, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center, Fort Bragg, NC, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Liqidsky Inc. The Contractor shall furnish all services and supplies, not otherwise provided by the Government, to provide the US Army Parachute Team at Fort Bragg, North Carolina Tandem Suits. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg, NC has received a request from the US Parachute Team (USAPT) to purchase nine (9) each Free Fly Jumpsuits and two (2) each camera suits. The suits are full body athletic mesh, shirt pocket, double layer cordura on knees and butt, snap on buttons for chest flap, spandex arm cuffs and Velcro leg cuffs. Magnetic chest flap and double layer on the legs. Sealed zipper and clean cut bottom of legs for the stirrups. Custom Embroidery is required. The letters are ARMS: 1 1/2 inch Tall and 1 1/8 inches Wide in block letter style. LEGS: 1 1/4 inch Tall and 1 1/8 inch Wide in block letter style. This is in support of the Golden Knights mission. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due by 17 July 2009, 3:00 P.M. (EST).
