- This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 561720 with a size standard of $16,500,000.00, for a specified period of one year with four possible option years. Work consists of supplying all equipment, materials, labor and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services at the following location: U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Office, 7 South State St. Ephrata, PA 17522. The services shall be rendered in strict accordance with the statement of work/specifications included in the request for quotations bid package. The services shall be rendered two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday, except Federal holidays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The period of performance shall be 01 August 2009 through 30 September 2009 with four possible option years through 2013. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only thru, Federal Business Opportunities System https://www.fbo.gov/index. This solicitation will not be issued in a hard copy format. All requests shall be submitted either via e-mail to nina.albritton@usace.army.mil or submitted via mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division Room# 7000, Simplified Acquisition Team, 10 South Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. PLEASE NOTE: No faxed requests will be accepted. In the absence of the Contract Specialist, please contact Linda Evans @ 410-962-2708. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package.
