- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO REPLACE CHAPEL SIDING AT THE JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY.PROJECT NUMBER R-CSD-137 This project is being funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-09-RA-0122 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including removal of existing building components, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the replacement of siding on a chapel at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at St. Louis, Missouri, as required by drawings and specifications. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 180 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 236220 SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 14 to a responsible veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on July 27, 2009. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizOpps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed.
