- UAS FTU OPERATIONS COMPLEX, HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, OTERO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and thus restricted to SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about July 30, 2009, with offers due on or about August 31, 2009. This solicitation will not be issued on paper. WORK CONSISTS of construction of renovation of an existing two story squadron operations facility, Building 318 and the construction of a 25,000SM (270,000SF) live ordinance load area (LOLA). The renovation will include fire suppression, utilities, site improvements, communications systems, and all necessary support for the Predator aircraft. This project will be advertised as a Request for Proposals. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best overall value to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.
