Revised drawing LEMO_204_C-1051A Revised drawing LEMO_565_S-5134A Revised drawing LEMO_565_S-1120A Revised Spec Section 05 50 15 Revised Spec Section 02 41 00 Revised Spec Section 01 22 00 00 10 Revised Spec Section 01 11 00 Final HTRW Report List of Attendees at Site Visit This amendment is issued to extend the bid opening date, to address questions received, to make revisions to the specifications and drawings, to add Line Item 0050 to the Bid Schedule, to provide HTRW results, to add list of site visit attendees, and to update the Wage Determination. The Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for a contract for the Major Rehabilitation Project for the Emsworth Locks and Dams, Back Channel, stabilization of the right and left abutments. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the installation of micropiles and rock anchors for stabilizing the existing abutment wall, and a pipe pile and sheet pile combination wall installed riverward of the existing abutment to facilitate grade separation for the future scour protection. The period of performance for this procurement is estimated to be 450 calendar days after the contractor receives the notice to proceed. Magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program established by Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988, this procurement will be unrestricted and any resulting award will be made pursuant to the above program. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately June 9, 2009, on-line only through Federal Business Opportunities; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the specification and drawings will not be honored. Requests must be made by registering for this solicitation through Federal Business Opportunities at https://www.fbo.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download the solicitation and drawings on or after the above issue date.
