Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for paving services at the McCall Fish Hatchery, NAICS 238990, The US Fish and Wildlife Service, LSRCP Office, McCall Fish Hatchery in McCall, Idaho, requires a contractor to replace existing asphalt coverage of approximately 41,490 square feet with 2 inches of asphalt. The work scope to complete area will include, but is not limited to; clean cracks and prep surface, filter cloth overlay, with 2" asphalt overlay, around shop area will only have 1 inch asphalt. Also the walkway or trail to residence #1 and residence #2 measures approximately 2,200 square feet. A 2 inch overlay is requested where needed with some tapering or blending around doors and parking garage to prevent water from running in. A fabric mat is to be applied between the existing asphalt and the overlay material. A drawing is included with approximate measurements. Any and all means of applying asphalt and surface preparation and clean-up will also be included in each area. 2. PLACE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: McCall Fish Hatchery, 300 Mather Road, McCall, Idaho 83638-1021. Job must be finished by September 30, 2009. 3. EVALUATION AND ACCEPTANCE: Evaluation and Acceptance will be determined by the Technical Coordinator 4. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/INFORMATION The hatchery has restrooms for contractor use. The existing cracks will be sprayed for weed removal prior to the overlay project. This is not included in the bid and will be taken care of independent of asphalt project. 5. MATERIAL: Pave approximately 41,490 sf of asphalt. Apply fabric under the asphalt. Contractor will meet I.S.P.W.C specifications. All material will be furnished by contractor and contractor will be responsible of all cleanups around facility 6. AVAILABILITY: Hours of operation at the hatchery are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Hatchery personnel will accommodate if after hours are needed. 7.
