Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source. USDA/OCIO/International Technology Services (ITS) intends to issue a sole source order to: SHI International Corp, 33 Knightsbridge Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854 for the purchase of Men and Mice DNS Management Module and IPS Management Module, including maintenance and service of this software. ITS requires a solution for a secure and integrated DNS management utility that provides a clear view of the diverse DNS platforms that comprise the ITS DNS infrastructure. ITS market research could find no other product on the market that has the non-intrusive archietecture of the Men & Mice suite, contains role-based security and management of both UNIX BIND and Windows DNS services. Any vendor who wishes to offer an alternative product should do so prior to the closing date and time of this announcement. Vendor is responsible to present clear and convincing evidence of the "equal" product they are proposing,
